Location The project area lies in the immediate southwest portion of the Simaisima Interchange along the Northern Relief Road. Umm Qarn is generally a residential district at the interior areas while government administrative offices for the Daayen Municipality and some commercial plots generally occupies the eastern portion abutting the Northern Relief Road. It is approximately 1.5km by 1km, occupying an area of about 165 hectares. The location of this project is illustrated in the attached drawing no. IA/09-10/C 098/G/GE-002. Scope of Construction Works In order to facilitate the installation of supply services and development by private plot owners, the area must be graded to formation level, as per approved grading plans. Description of Works (1) The Scope of work includes the site clearance and grading of the site as per the approved grading plans. (2) The Work will include, but are not limited to, the following: (a) Site Clearance. (b) Completion of required earthworks as per approved grading plans to attain formation level.
